Description
Rural Acute Care: Essentials is our foundational course. It covers 6 core topics: arrhythmias, shortness of breath, shock, altered level of consciousness, MI and cardiac arrest. Drawing from our many years of Rural hospital-based practices, we have streamlined and adapted the course approaches and content to the need of a Rural medical practitioner. The Basic Course consists of 12 high fidelity simulation scenarios covering the common acute care situations drawn from the core topics. You will work in small teams and majority of the day will be spent in hands on practice with targeted debriefs after each scenario.
Thank you for your interest in one of our courses! Upon registration, you will receive an email from us establishing contact. Once we have a minimum of 3 pre-registered clients, we will send a survey of potential dates and when we get everyone’s preference, we will set the course date. This process ensures we have the appropriate number of attendees that can perform as an effective team and it also helps us keep our prices reasonable.
