This course is aimed at the more experienced providers, or a provider who has completed the Basic Course and wants more of a challenge. While it covers the same 6 core topics as the Basic Course (arrhythmias, shortness of breath, shock, altered level of consciousness, MI and cardiac arrest), it does so at a higher level of integration and difficulty. It consists of 10 high fidelity simulation scenarios that will challenge and push your cogniton, team leadership and medical judgment to new heights. You will work in small teams and majority of the day will be spent in hands on practice with targeted debriefs after each scenario.
